Hi guys! If you haven’t been to San Francisco, California I strongly advise that you add this to your bucket list. We decided to visit San Francisco for some engagement pictures and to meet up with a photographer, Iris and Light. Our first picture below was taken by Iris and Light (Ryan Southwell Films), where we did some other exciting things that I can’t tell you about just yet! Iris and Light is incredible by the way, so if your looking for an amazing photographer or videographer, contact them now!

I would love to share some things to do in San Francisco. First off, of course you have to visit the Golden Gate Bridge and I know this is tourist trap but you can’t go to San Fran without seeing Alcatraz, visit this link for tickets! Where to eat? By far the best restaurant is Park Tavern, the food is outstanding and the decor of course is rustic and cozy! Make sure you make a reservation at this place! You will not be disappointed. Where to stay? Well you could go fancy and stay at higher ends hotels like the Four Seasons San Francisco, which is very pricey and located downtown in Union Square. However, we decided to stay in Fisherman’s Wharf which outside the hustle and bustle! I absolutely adored our hotel which was The Tuscan Best Western Plus, again very rustic decor! The service was incredible, and make sure you ask for a renovated room! Last but not least, visit the wineries of course. We rented a car and took a day trip to Napa Valley and Sonoma Valley. However, I was a bit disappointed in our timing, we only had the day to visit both and if you love wineries like I do I suggest staying overnight and taking at least two days to visit. There are TONS of wineries, California is wine country and it is absolutely breathtaking. Napa or Sonoma you ask? Personally, I loved Sonoma Valley. Sonoma is quiet, quaint, friendly the buildings are older and rustic. We visited Sebastiani Vineyard, and this was amazing. They explained each wine that we tasted, where it came from, how old it was, and how they got started as a company. Sonoma provides a wider selection of wines then Napa Valley and it is a bit more laid back. Don’t get me wrong, I loved Napa Valley as well, which is a bit more higher class but I preferred Sonoma. If you want some more information on the Differences Between Napa and Sonoma Valley, visit this link!

These are just a list of my suggestions of things to do when you visit San Francisco, there is so much this beautiful city has to offer. Visit Top 10 Things To Do in San Francisco. Please leave me a comment if you have any other suggestions on certain wineries to visit, restaurants to eat at, or hotels to stay at, I love to travel and we will be heading back here!
