Our wedding in Wedding Bells Magazine

I am so happy to announce that our wedding was featured in Wedding Bells Magazine. What? Canada wide, I couldn't believe it. Tyler proposed to Ashley on the rooftop of their hotel during a Barcelona vacation. “Honestly, I didn’t even have my best outfit on!” Ashley laughs. “Tyler turned to me and asked, ‘Are you ready?’ — meaning ready for the time of our lives — then he popped the question.” The pair opted for a rustic wedding theme with yellow, grey, white and gold details. “I love the look of nature and greenery, so we added some branches as centrepieces,” Ashley shares. “We had a beautiful green grass backdrop, and wood and stone accents.” Ashley also wanted soft lighting, so candles and string lights were used on the tables to brighten up the room. For Ashley, marrying Tyler was the best part of the day. “There were so many other great moments, including our first look and the wedding video, which we shot in San Francisco prior to the wedding,” Ashley explains. “We played the video during our bride-and-groom entrance into the reception and it was a nice, non-traditional touch.” That wasn’t the couple’s only unconventional detail. The pair opted to have the cocktail reception and dinner before the ceremony and the reception. “Even though we had to bring our ceremony indoors, it turned out to be a great move,” Ashley says. “Our guests got to relax in their dinner seats and watch us get married!”
