Our Dining Room

Hi again everyone. So here is our dining room. Again, I am simple and neutral in my colours. I decided on a darker table, with grey fabric chairs. Like I said, when I add colour I tend to accent with colours, here I decided to add colourful artwork to this area. I really think the colour makes the room pop! Dining Room Table: 1930s French Farmhouse Collection, in Antiqued Black. Dining Room Chairs: 19th C. French Victorian Tufted Square Side Chair, finished in Burnt Oak, Vintage Velvet in colour Graphite. Lighting: I wanted to add something that would stand out, and just give that WOW factor. Just a tip here, check your local stores. I got this idea from a Restoration Hardware picture, however my local lighting store was way cheaper. I purchased this from Lighting Boutique. A similar piece can be found at Restoration Hardware here. Artwork: I was out and about one day at HomeSense where I found a big, bright, and colourful photo of an elephant. It looked great, and realized that the wall was too big and I needed one more. Luckily, there was one more left of the Rhino. So put this side by side, and the room turned out perfect. Table Decor: I love candles, who doesn't? I wanted to get some shiny candle holders with different heights, remember different contrasts and textures are a nice added touch to a room. You can find similar candles here. Hope you enjoyed reading, until next time!
