West Coast Trip (Las Vegas, LA, San Diego)

Recently my husband and I took a trip to the west coast. I've never been to Los Angeles, and I always hear such amazing things about it. Our first destination was Las Vegas, the lovely Sin City. We stayed at the Encore, which by the way just updated their rooms which are very nice! I never really explore Vegas, it's usually just to party. So we did two pool parties Wet Republic and Encore Beach Club. If you are looking for party I recommend these two pool parties for the day, and my nightclub recommendation would be XS Nightclub. I always have trouble finding good restaurants in Vegas, so if you have any recommendations, please send me an email or leave me a comment. PS. My bathing suit was Monday Swimwear, and my friend was wearing Agent Provocateur. From Vegas, we drove to beautiful San Diego. Now we only really had one full day here, and we stayed at a beautiful luxury boutique hotel called The Pendry. Since we only had one day, we decided on doing the hop on/ hop off bus tour, as we wanted to take in as much of the city as possible. In San Diego, I recommend eating at Lionfish and Herb & Wood. After San Diego, we made our way to Los Angeles. LA is so big, it was hard to choose a good location to stay in because everything takes 30 minutes to get too. However, I really liked our hotel and the service was amazing. We stayed at the Peninsula Beverley Hills. I highly recommend staying in Beverley Hills, West Hollywood, or along the coast, and not downtown LA (it is a bit sketchy). We had one full day of talk shows where we went to the Price is Right, which was awesome, and Jimmy Kimmel Live. These were both great experiences and if you haven't seen a talk show in real life, it is very cool! We rented a Porsche and drove around the following day, we went to see the famous Alec Monopoly mural that my husband had to see, walked the famous Rodeo Drive, drove to Santa Monica and went to the Bulletproof Cafe and walked the famous Santa Monica Pier. Eating options are endless in LA, however if your looking for a great atmosphere that is hip you must eat at Catch LA. For a more relaxed vibe with amazing Italian I would recommend Felix (which was very hard to get reservations for, so stay on top of it). We also went to the LA Kings game one evening in downtown LA, the crowd was so lively. This is just a short summary of our trip, if you would like any more detailed information, please write a comment! Thanks for reading, and until next time!
